1. Just a day before India's Independence on August 14, 1947, Pran alongwith his wife and a year old son ventured into Mumbai from Lahore. Before Partition, the actor had already appeared as a villain in 22 flicks but partition gave him an unwanted short break.
2. Pran used to stay in Taj Hotel but with no work he was going short with money which made him to shift to a guest house.
