Here is surfaced a hidden truth. Rana is the son of former Pandya King Kochadaiiyaan Ranadheeran and he uses this strategy to give the country back their lost sons who were living under the slavery in Kotaipattinam for over a decade.

Rana brings them back to Pandya and befriends with the king Rishikodagan. He falls in love with his daughter Vadhana (Deepika Padukone) but amidst all this Rana tries to assassinate the Pandya king. Now why Rana does so, Kochadaiiyaan unfolds this mystery further.

While the entire story is engaging with a good screenplay, the presentation through the latest technology stands as a biggest hurdle for the flick.
