As far as last week's releases are concerned, the South India flicks namely Rajinikanth ‘Kochadaiiyaan' and Nagarjuna's ‘Akkineni' have ruled the international box office charts eclipsing Bollywood's ‘Heropanti' there.

According to Taran Adarsh, “The South Indian films dominated the international markets this weekend.MANAM, the Telugu biggie that brings the three generations of the Akkineni family together -- Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya -- has embarked on a stupendous start in USA”. The flick raked in Rs 4.96 cr by weekend here.

Kochadaiiyaan, the much-awaited Rajinikanth starrer is doing brilliant particularly in USA and Malaysia.

“HEROPANTI got eclipsed by the MANAM and KOCHADAIIYAAN wave in key markets, but has managed impressive numbers in UAE-GCC”, confirms Adarsh.

However, the flick is doing impressive business in India and within six days of its release it has made Rs 32.79 cr nett.

“#Heropanti Fri 6.63 cr, Sat 6.42 cr, Sun 8.28 cr, Mon 4.26 cr, Tue 3.79 cr, Wed 3.41 cr. Total: Rs 32.79 cr nett. Rock-steady. HIT!”, writes Adarsh.
