New Delhi: First things first, Salman Khan's ‘Kick' has marched successfully into the Rs 200 cr club by its second Monday and has become the fifth flick to do so.

However, the flick witnessed a sharp fall on Monday raking in Rs 5.08 cr in India but it brought good news for Kick at box office.

“Kick [Week 2] Fri 9.22 cr, Sat 10.62 cr, Sun 14.18 cr, Mon 5.08 cr. Total: Rs 203.19 cr nett. Salman's HIGHEST GROSSER in India", tweets trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh.

Along with this, the Sajid Nadiadwala's directorial has demolished Aamir Khan's ‘3 Idiots' lifetime collection of Rs 202 cr nett in India, which it made by running over 70 days at box office.

“Kick crosses #3Idiots in domestic market. More records to shatter in days to come...,” writes Adarsh.

On the other side, the overseas collection too is growing at a good pace and till its second Monday, Kick has made Rs 58.35 cr nett taking the worldwide collection to Rs 261.54 cr. “Kick Overseas total till Mon: $ 9.6 million [Rs 58.35 cr]. Many screens yet to report. SUPERB!”, confirms Adarsh.

Meanwhile, in India there are now other records, which are left to be shattered at box office and Kick is desperately eyeing on.

Kick is now the fourth biggest grosser of all time in India after Shah Rukh Khan's ‘Chennai Express' (Rs 226.70 cr), Hrithik Roshan's ‘Krrish 3' (Rs 240.50 cr) and Aamir Khan's ‘Dhoom 3' (Rs 280.25 cr).

Looking at the trends, the collection of last year Eid release ‘Chennai Express' could be a reachable target for this Salman Khan flick, which has another competition-free three days in hands. Moreover, its further collection will depend upon this week's release ‘Entertainment' starring Akshay Kumar and Tamannaah Bhatia.

Screens are surely to get divided but if ‘Entertainment' is given back seat by audience, Kick is going to have a dream run and will only get a break once Ajay Devgn's highly promising ‘Singham Returns' strikes at Independence day. Till then it may be possible that Hrithik Roshan's ‘Krrish 3' comes down to number three and Kick would be settled at number 2 at box office. Let's see how it all goes.
