New Delhi: #Kick has continued its giant run at the box office while collecting over Rs 225 crore in the domestic market.
The Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez starrer film has already surpassed the coveted Rs 300 cr mark, globally paving wonders in its third week too.
According to popular trade analyst and movie critics, Taran Adarsh, “#Kick [Week 3] Fri 1.97 cr, Sat 2.94 cr, Sun 3.92 cr, Mon 1.69 cr. Grand total: Rs. 225.63 cr nett. India biz.”
While the film has beaten the lifetime collection of Shah Rukh Khan's Chennai Express, released last year, it has also become the highest grossing film of the year 2014.
And adding another feather to its cap is the fact that it is by far the highest earning film of Salman Khan.
Running behind is Akshay Kumar's ‘Entertainment' that has garnered above Rs. 43 crore in India itself. Though Kick is raving high for it successful run at the box office, several other box office records are awaited to be broken too!
The only hindrance that can obstruct the growth of the film is the release of Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty's successful franchise, ‘Singham Returns.'
