Mumbai, Sept 7: In the midst of all the promotional activities for her forthcoming film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Katrina Kaif managed to take out time to visit the shrine of Sheikh Salim Chisti at Agra's Fatehpur Sikri yesterday.
Dressed in a black dress, Kats arrived early at the dargah and offered a 'chadar'. She then untied a 'dhaga' (sacred thread) as a fulfilment of her 'mannat' (wish).
Incidentally, Katrina had visited this very holy shrine earlier too while shooting for Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and had decided that she would pay a visit closer to the release of the film.
Mere Brother Ki Dulhan has Katrina along with Imran Khan and Ali Zafar. The film releases this Friday (Sept 9).
This is the same shrine which French President Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife Carla Bruni visited, after which the latter became pregnant. Carla had prayed for a child here.
