Three years after the infamous pbirthday party thrown by Katrina Kaif, where Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan clashed, the Bollywood diva is now all set to throw another birthday bash, reports a Mumbai tabloid.Since the last two years, Katrina had been nervous about throwing a birthday party. Finally, the actress has decided to host a grand birthday party in July.
The tabloid quotes a friend of the actress, “ After what happened at her birthday party three years ago Katrina developed a paranoia about hosting a party."A very private person by nature, she was outraged and embarrassed by what transpired between the two Bollywood titans on her special day.
"She wouldn't step out of her home for any social event for weeks after, so complete was her sense of mortification about the open war between the two Khans at her revelry.”
The report says, given the status of two Khans in the industry, it would be tricky for Katrina to ignore any one of them at the cost of the other.Salman Khan is working in Yashraj Films' upcoming ‘Ek Tha Tiger' with Katrina Kaif, so he is almost a certainty at the party. So, that could leave out SRK.
The question of Shah Rukh Khan is trickier and Katrina's dexterity would be tested fully in the case.If Katrina Kaif does not invite Shah Rukh Khan, it would be a grave risk on the part of gorgeous babe, given the clout of King Khan in Bollywood, the report says. And if she invites SRK, then Salman Khan won't be pleased with her decision and may ditch the party altogether.
However, given the fact that Katrina Kaif is working with the likes of Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar, who are known Shah Rukh khan loyalists, it is unlikely that she will ignore King Khan for the party.
In any case, the occasion will also be marked by the release of Katrina Kaif-Hrithik Roshan starrer flick ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara', and Hrithik would want his close friend SRK to grace the occasion.Then, even Farhan Akhtar is directing Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Don 2' and all this makes a strong case for his presence at the party.
But now finally, Katrina has decided to let bygones be bygones and is all set to throw a grand party, where she wants to invite all the people who make a difference to her life in one way or another.Says a source close to Katrina, “ She wants to leave the nightmare of that birthday party behind and just enjoy the company of all her colleagues."It won't be a fake party. She won't invite anyone just for formality's sake.”
Also, this year her birthday coincides with the release of her next film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.Says a friend of Katrina, “ She wants to celebrate, because that's what Dobara is about. She had loads of fun with Farhan and Zoya during the shooting in Spain. They made her lose her inhibitions. The shooting of ZNMD also exorcised Katrina of the demons of the 2008 birthday bash. So yes, Katrina will party.”
