In the same year, she worked with Ranbir Kapoor in Rajkumar Santoshi's comedy drama ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani' and with this, rumours surrounded their relationship as till then she had broken off with Salman Khan.
In 2010, the duo again was seen in yet another flick titled ‘Rajneeti', which was again a hit at Box Office. By the end of the year Katrina's first item number ‘Sheila Ki Jawani' in Tees Maar Khan was a chartbuster and it even left behind Malaika Arora's Munni Badnam Hui in terms of popularity.
In 2011, Zoya Akhtar's ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' the actress gave a fine performance and for the first time she gave an onscreen kiss which also brought many of her admirers to theatres.
Katrina kicked off 2012 with a Lavani number ‘Chikni Chameli' in 'Agneepath' which was a hit. Later in the year she once again shared screen with her ex-boyfirend Salman Khan in Kabir Khan's ‘Ek Tha Tiger' which turned out to be the second highest grosser of Bollywood after Aamir Khan's ‘3 Idiots'.
Ek Tha Tiger was mostly in buzz because it was Kat-Salman's first movie post break up.
Same year Kat worked with Shahrukh Khan is Yash Chopra's last romantic saga ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan'. Her kiss with SRK in the flick was again the talk of the town. This year Katrina will be seen in Saif Ali Khan starrer 'Phantom', Ranbir Kapoor's 'Jagga Jasoos' and Aditya Roy Kapoor starrer 'Fitoor'.
