Katrina Kaif is inarguably the most reserved celebrity of Bollywood. We rarely see her talk about anything other than her professional life i.e. her upcoming movies and the roles she essays.
Her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor is an open secret but the actress always preferred to remain tight lipped over the issue.
However, recently, Katrina opened up about being Ranbir's girlfriend in an interview to an entertainment channel.
The actress said her blood boils when someone refers to her as his girlfriend.
Katrina believes that she has created her own individuality in the past nine years with sheer hard work. Thus limiting her identity to just being Ranbir Kapoor's girlfriend is not justified.
Her reasons are valid enough as Katrina has come a long way in the industry since Boom and deserves to be respected as an actress.
In the interview, Katrina also clarified her stand when asked about her being feminist and not admitting that there is a man in her life.
“People say I am not open, but is being open only talking about your relationships? I don't think I am feminist but I don't think an actress should be made to speak about the men in her life when there is so much more to her and what she has achieved. We need to respect that.”
Katrina further asserted that she doesn't like to disclose anything about her personal life. She believes she should be asked questions on her professional life and not beyond that.
