On 29 September 2003, Karisma tied the knot with industrialist Sunjay Kapur, CEO of Sixt India at her grandfather Raj Kapoor's R K Cottage. Post her marriage in 2003, Karisma took a sabbatical from work. In 2012, Karisma Kapoor made her comeback with supernatural thriller 'Dangerous Ishhq'.
Just after few months of their wedding, reports of trouble were heard in Karisma and Sanjay's wedding. The two finally ended their 11-year-old relationship. The divorce was bitter as the two were fighting over the custody of their kids.
With Sanjay, Karisma has two children Samaira Kapoor and Kiaan Raj Kapoor.
