A friend of the actress told Mirror that earlier there were talks of Kareena draping a new saree but this is the custom in the Pataudi family and it is generally followed.
Since Kareena and Sharmila bond very well she had no issues with wearing ‘old sharara' when she was told about it.
However, there is a possibility of a few modifications to the sharara so that it looks contemporary and the buzz is that fashion designer Ritu Kumar, who has a long relationship with Sharmila, will do the needful.
