Ever since Kapil Sharma decided to take a break from the show ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil' following a medical condition, there has been buzz about whether the show will get a new host or will it go off air.
Reportedly there had been rumours about Karan Johar turning out to be the next host for popular comedy show ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil'.
Karan Johar has been seen in the ‘judge avatar' in various reality shows on the small screen, ‘India's Got Talent' being the recent one. So soon after Kapil announced of taking a break from the show, rumours sputtered of KJo replacing Kapil Sharma in ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil'.
However, KJo has now given a break to the rumours as he clears the air about the speculations. Karan clarified saying, “No. I don't know where this rumour started from. It's absolutely untrue. I can't replace Kapil Sharma. I am not that stupid.”
With KJo not replacing Kapil Sharma, we wonder if the show will actually go off air after Kapil Sharma's break?
