New Delhi: Actress Kangana Ranaut has undoubtedly done exceptionally well for herself in Bollywood. She has carved out a niche with her hard work devoid of any big shot to look up to. And these qualities are what her fans love in her.
But of late, maybe Kangana is being the character she played in ‘Fashion'. Shonali, Kangana's character, was at the top of her modelling career when arrogance caught up with her and she went down a falling slope.
Ahead of her release, ‘Katti Batti', Kangana Ranaut has also made a few comments which don't reflect the values she has stood for. Kangana is worried that many in the industry are planning to bring her down. She also alleged that one of her contemporaries has been texting her directors to sign her instead as she would do it for free.
Recently at an interview, Kangana said; “I started from ‘B grade films' and today I'm the No 1 actress of this country… whereas other actresses, whom you might call my contemporaries, they have had no growth in whatever platform they were launched… they are still there and have not risen to another platform.”
If this was not enough, this is what she replied in an interview to a leading magazine when asked if she was anxious about her competition; “No, not at all! Name one actresses who could've played Datto or done Queen.”
However, she was slammed for this comment by Divya Dutta. Divya took to Twitter to reply to a tweet, “did she really say that. Only one gets t oppurtunity to get t rte thing at t rte time. B grateful coz there's a lot of talent arnd”
Well, we wonder what the confident Kangana has to say about it. But from Divya's response, one thing is clear. Not everyone loves Kangana's high-handed statements.
