When Namastey London released in 2007, it instantly became a success. Audiences loved the desi avatar of Akshay Kumar and the spoilt brat style of Katrina Kaif. Their equation won hearts.

Eight years later, director Vipul Amrutlal Shah announced the sequel to the movie titled, “Namastey England”. Rumours have it that though Akshay Kumar will be the lead male of this sequel, Katrina Kaif will not be romancing him.

It is not Katrina but Kangana!

Rumours have it that Kangana Ranaut will be cast opposite Akshay Kumar for Namastey England.

An insider said, "The makers are keen on having her on board. It's a double role and everyone has seen the ease with which she pulled off the double role in her last release Tanu Weds Manu Returns.””

If a double role is what the makers are aiming for, then Kangana would be the perfect choice. We all loved her in both versions, the happy-go-lucky Tanu and the Haryanavi athlete Datto in Tanu weds Manu returns.

It is also said that Kangana has shown keen interest in the film and will soon freeze her decisions.

Though there are no confirmations yet, all we can do is hope that we get to see Akshay and Kangana impress us with their acting skills in a movie together.
