Chennai: Actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan-starrer Tamil comedy "Uttama Villain" was recently wrapped up and will release before spy-thriller "Vishwaroopam 2", which is currently stuck in the post-production phase.
"There's a lot of graphics work involved in 'Vishwaroopam 2', hence the delay. It will only release after 'Uttama Villain', which should be out very soon," a source close to Haasan told IANS.
"Uttama Villain" is said to be the story of an ageing superstar, played by Haasan, who has also penned the story of the film.
The film also features Jayaram, Andrea Jeremiah, Pooja Kumar and Haasan's mentor K. Balachander in important roles.
Haasan is currently busy shooting for Tamil thriller "Papanasam", a remake of Malayalam blockbuster "Drishyam".
