Mumbai,Nov 2: Actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan's plans to host a three-city music release for his new film Vishwaroopam have fallen prey to Cyclone Nilam, which has struck the southern coastal regions.
He had planned a simultaneous three-city music launch for the movie on his birthday Nov 7.
But the plans are said to have been now altered, and Haasan calls Nilam a "spoilsport".
Earlier, the event was to unfold in huge open-air theatres simultaneously in Chennai, Coimbatore and Madurai.
"Nilam has restricted our plans severely. Because of her, we can't have the music launch in open-air stadiums, as planned. That would mean a very wet and soggy attendance.
We'd now have to have the music function in covered areas. The attendance would have to be seriously scaled down from the original 15,000 people at each venue," said the actor.
"Nilam is such a spoilsport. Such is life - man proposes, woman disposes," he quipped.
