Mumbai: Filmmaker Kabir Khan says there are no plans to work on the second instalment of this year's super hit film “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”, as he does not believe in making sequels.
“Bajrangi Bhaijaan”, which starred superstar Salman Khan, was Kabir's second collaboration with the actor after “Ek Tha Tiger” (2012).
When asked if he would make a sequel to the hit film, Kabir said, “No, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan' sequel is not happening. I never make sequels of my films. But if the script of a film really excites me, then never say never.

“Some characters become iconic. Bajrangi is an iconic character, so is Chand Nawab (played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui). So let's see. But sequels don't excite me. So I don't believe in sequels,” Kabir told reporters here at the sidelines of 11th Guild Awards.
The director said he is currently working on his next film and it is too soon to tell who is going to star in it. “I am still working on it, discussing ideas and scripts. So yet to take a final call on the casting.”
