New Delhi: Two years ago, B-town was taken aback by the shocking news of Bollywood actress Jiah Khan's suicide.
Ever since then a lot of speculations have been made about the reason for her suicide. However in her suicide note, she had mentioned the instincts of physical abuse and abortion she faced in her relationship with boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi.
While the case is still under investigation, CBI has recently come up with a spine-chilling angle in Jiah Khan's suicide case which clearly states that Sooraj was the reason behind it.
The report claims that the actress was pregnant with Sooraj Pancholi's baby, but he didn't want to take on the responsibility of the child and asked Jiah to abort it. But things didn't go as it was planned.
The report states, “Jiah was four weeks pregnant when she informed Pancholi about it. The couple then approached a doctor and finally a gynaecologist prescribed a strong combination of drugs. After taking the medicines, Khan started haemorrhaging and called Pancholi for help. She was in pain and needed immediate medical attention but Pancholi allegedly asked her to wait and called up the gynaecologist for guidance. He was asked to rush Khan to hospital as the foetus had probably been aborted but hadn't been expelled from the body, which is probably what led to the haemorrhaging. However, Pancholi was afraid that if Khan got hospitalised, their relationship would become public and his career could grind to a halt even before taking off. Sooraj then decided to take matters into his own hand rather than risking going to a hospital. He extricated the foetus and disposed it off in the toilet.”
While Jiah was totally shattered after the incident, she eventually decided to end her life.
According to media reports, the CBI has filed a chargesheet in the suicide case of the actress describing the gruesome act of Pancholi. The chargesheet states that this incident added to her depression which finally drove her to suicide.
Reportedly, this incident came into light after CBI recorded the statement of doctors, who are among the 11 new witnesses examined. While the Jiah Khan's suicide case is taking new turns, we wonder what else is yet to be revealed now.
