New Delhi: In a turn of events, the CBI yesterday, the 9th of December, filed a charge sheet in the suicide case of Jiah Khan accusing actor Sooraj Pancholi of abetting suicide. Since the actress' was found hanging at her residence in Mumbai, two years ago, the case has been shrouded in mystery.
Jiah's affair with Sooraj Pancholi, was sighted as a major reason for her taking such a drastic step. Jiah's mother Rabiya Khan was the first to allege her disturbed relationship with Sooraj as the biggest reason. After her demand, the Bombay High Court has transferred the case to CBI.
Several gruesome details about Jiah's pregnancy and the subsequent abortion have now seen the light of the day. As quoted by a leading portal, Jiah Khan was four weeks months pregnant when she informed Sooraj about the same. The two visited a physician but The Medical Termination of Pregnancy did not end well. Jiah was then prescribed some strong medicines.
When Jiah fell ill after taking the medicines, instead of taking her to a hospital, Sooraj extricated the foetus with his hands and disposed it off in the toilet.

She was left shattered, something which is quite evident in her suicide note. In the suicide note which was found days later after Jiah committed suicide. In the heart touching note, she had written that, “I aborted our baby when it hurt me deeply.”
Full text of Jiah's suicide note:
“I can't eat or sleep or think or function. I am running away from everything. The career is not even worth it anymore. When I first met you I was driven, ambitious and disciplined. Then I fell for you, a love I thought would bring out the best in me. I don't know why destiny brought us together. After all the pain, the rape, the abuse, the torture I have seen previously I didn't deserve this.”
“You destroyed my life. It hurt me so much that I waited for you for ten days and you didn't bother buying me something. The Goa trip was my birthday present but even after you cheated I still spent on you. I aborted our baby when it hurt me deeply. You destroyed my Christmas and my birthday dinner when I came back. When I tried my hardest to make your birthday special.”
