Jai Agnihotri, an ex-army officer (Salman Khan) has a simple yet meaningful aim to help the needy and encourage them to help the others. On his verge he takes the iron from the state Home minister (Danny Denzongpa) who is miffed by his violent yet noble means to help others. The rivalry takes an ugly shape when his mother (Nadira Babbar) and sister Geeta (Tabu) are targeted. This goes personal and Jai rises above to save his family.
