New Delhi: The lead actress in upcoming film ‘Roy', Jacqueline Fernandez lost shoes worth Rs 2 lakh while shooting for a dance sequence in the film.
According to a report by a leading daily, there was a Tango dance sequence in the film. When Jacqueline was told about the dance she insisted on bringing her own shoes. While dancing with Ranbir, she tripped on a curb and broke one of her heals.
Fortunately, Jacqueline was unhurt but nonetheless she was upset. Initially no one realized the reason but later she told the director that it was one of her favourite pair of shoes and it cost her Rs 2 lakh.
The former beauty queen Jacqueline overcame the grief and filmed the dance sequence with another pair of shoes the production house provided.
The beautiful actress confirmed to the daily about the incident saying, "It was a Tango dance sequence and I was comfortable dancing in my shoes. But little did I know that these shoes won't support this dance form and I ended up breaking my heels. The production house had a pair of shoes, which were apt for the dance form and I danced in them."
Jacqueline has double role in ‘Roy' where she would romance two actors Arjun Rampal and Ranbir Kapoor.
Directed by Vikramjit Singh, Roy is scheduled for release on February 13.
