New Delhi: Jacqueline Fernandez, the latest muse of Bollywood who is all set to climb the success ladder with her upcoming film ‘Roy' is quite upbeat about her performance in the film and her co-stars.
In an exclusive interview to Times of India, the Sri Lankan beauty has spilled the beans about her experiences while working with 'Roy' co-stars, expressing her admiration for Salman Khan and much more.
Jacqueline Fernandez who is playing a double role in the movie has won accolades for keeping the two characters different from each other in the movie and carrying them with elan. On asking if the times have changed for actresses in Bollywood, Jacqueline said, "I think it has always been there, but now it is very prominent. Times are changing and actresses are taking a stand. Look at Anushka Sharma who is producing her own film or Sonam Kapoor, who is creating such an amazing niche for herself. Kangana Ranaut in 'Queen' turned out to be a huge success. These are great examples of actresses moving ahead. It is great that actresses feel strong now and have enough confidence to take on such roles and movies.
High on energy babe - Jacqueline who managed to romance two dishy dudes - Arjun Rampal and Ranbir Kapoor in the movie only spoke nice things about them in the interview. From calling them genuine, lovely and hardworking, Jacqueline didn't stop talking about both of them. "It was an amazing experience. I never really knew them before I started working on Roy. Arjun is a genuine, lovely honest and hardworking person. He is so involved in everything and very helpful towards his co-stars, his director and even his DoP (Director of Photography). It is a beautiful thing to see that quality in an actor and that enabled me to improve my performance. Ranbir, on the other hand, is someone who takes a little time to open up, even though he is extremely kind, sweet and nice. But once he does that, he's got an amazing sense of humour and has got the right attitude towards his work. He is someone who genuinely loves his job of being an actor."
Last but not the least- Jacqueline was asked about the most handsome man in Bollywood. And Ranbir couldn't make it to her list; she promptly placed Salman on number one and Arjun Rampal on two.
Jacqueline hogged limelight during her stint with Salman Khan in 'Kick.' The actor reportedly gifted her flat during the shooting of the film. The reports of the two having an affair also did rounds among the gossip mongers.
