New Delhi: Actor Irrfan Khan's Facebook account was hacked earlier in the day on Wednesday, but it has now been restored, according to sources.
Irrfan, who is currently shooting in remote areas of Jaisalmer was unaware of the fact that his account on the social media had been hacked.
"After noticing irregular random posts on Irrfan's Facebook page, his team immediately restored the settings before any damage was caused by the hacker," said a statement.

Earlier this year, social media accounts of actors Amitabh Bachchan and Shahid Kapoor were also hacked, but later restored.
This year has been fruitful for Irrfan Khan. He starred in movies like 'Juraasic Park', 'Piku', 'Talvar' and 'Jazbaa'. In all the aforementioned movies his performance was well appreciated by the critics and audiences alike.
Irrfan Khan is also an active social media user. Few days back when his Piku co-star Deepika Padukone shared a picture of hers with Hollywood actor Vin Diesel, Irrfan took to Facebook to congratulate her. He had written, "A big congratulation to our favourite #Piku for her smashing #Hollywooddebut with #VinDiesel @deepikaapadukone."
