Manish, 30, who have tasted success on the small screen, said he is getting many offers to play lead roles in films. “The script is the star these days, if the script is good, any actor can become a star. Thankfully I am getting lead roles, which is good.
“Frankly, I never thought of films as I was too busy with my television assignments. There are a lot of directors who have approached me for lead roles, but it is little too early to talk about them,” Manish told PTI.
He is all set to host the fourth season of the reality show ‘India's Got Talent' on Colors with funnyman Cyrus Sahukar. The show will go on air in September.
The fourth season of the show promises to showcase some remote and regional art forms across the country. “This time we are going to different states, cities, small towns and villages to find talent for the show. We are also planning to revive many local art forms which are getting extinct,” he added.
Manish, who started his career as a radio jockey, is currently hosting dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhlaja' season 5.
He said, being an entertainer, his priority is to entertain the audience.
“I am an entertainer first than an actor or a host. Entertaining people is a tough task these days because you have got so many forms of entertainment,” he added.
