New Delhi: At a starry and glittering event, the15th edition of the IIFA (International Indian Film Academy) at Tampa Bay, the best talents of the India cinema were bestowed with Farhan Akhtar and Deepika Padukone winning the top honours.
Farhan, who portrayed famous athlete Milkha Singh in Rakesh Omprakash Mehtra's biopic 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag', bagged best actor award while Deepika Padukone took away the leading actress trophy for Chennai Express.
Rakesh Omprakash Mehra was the director of year for ‘BMB'. The awards ceremony hosted by Farhan Akhtar and Shahid Kapoor saw some brilliant performances by Madhuri Dixit, Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor among others.
