Udaipur, June 7: He has already starred in four Bollywood productions including 'Aisha' and 'Yeh Saali Zindagi', but actor Arunoday Singh said movie offers don't come to him and he still needs to hunt for work.

The 27-year-old actor, who made his Bollywood debut with 'Sikandar', said that acting in movies by Anil Kapoor and Sudhir Mishra hasn't changed anything for him as he still has to audition for roles.

"Aisha and Yeh Saali Zindagi has brought me recognition but it's not that I have a lot of offers coming in. I have to audition for roles and hunt for work," Arunoday told PTI.

Arunoday said he is waiting for that phase in his career when would work at his own pace and be in control of the project he is a part of, just like actor-director Farhan Akhtar.

"I want to be someone like Farhan Akhtar and make a movie when I like, act in it, compose music and then relax for a while until the next one.

"Waiting and asking for roles is very annoying, the wait seems to be very long. I want to be in that position where you can create a project and its all in your control," said the actor, who is currently shooting for Ishraq Shah's political thriller 'Ek Bura Aadmi' in Udaipur.

The film also stars Kitu Gidwani and Raghubir Yadav.

"It is a political thriller. It's a very strong script and I said yes to it because I liked the energy of the director. I play a muslim boy who has a passion to do something and can go to any extent to achieve it," Arunoday said.

The hunky actor, who has reportedly bagged Madhur Bhandarkar's upcoming project 'Heroine' starring Aishwarya Rai, is confident that he has what it takes to be at the top and wants to do influential cinema which would leave an impact on the audience.

"I want to do one memorable movie, which people remember, a film which influences the audience. I know I can do it, it will take time but it will happen," he said.

Arunoday comes from a political background, his grandfather Arjun Singh was the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh and his father Ajay Singh is a senior Congress leader from the state.

When asked why he did not choose politics as his profession, Arunodoy said, "I am not interested in politics and acting is my forte." PTI
