New Delhi: The biggest hit director-actor and father-son jodi of Rakesh Roshan and Hrithik Roshan is coming up yet again not for a sequence of Krrish but for a subject kept under wraps for now. Pa Rakesh Roshan who launched his son with his blockbuster hit ‘Kaho Na Pyar Hain' opposite Amisha Patel has together given a ten out of ten results with ‘Koi Mil Gaya and ‘Krrish' franchisee.
However, now the oath of just working for the same franchisee is broken and Rakesh Roshan is penning an altogether a different script day and night, which would be untouched by the super hero drama.
The Greek God of Bollywood is working on Ashutosh Gowariker's periodic drama ‘Mohanjo Daro' and it would be after wrapping up this movie that he will work with his father.
The actor who is on cloud nine these days for his commercial success Bang Bang, in an interview to a leading daily confirmed the news saying, “My father works for up to five hours on his script daily. So, as soon as he is ready, maybe, that would be my next film after Ashutosh Gowarikar's directorial,”
Clearing the air over the concept of the flick, Hrtihik rebuffed the fact that it is going to be the superhero film's sequel quoting “My father is trying to work on something else first.”
There are no qualms in accepting that this father-son jodi has dominated the box office with their exceptional work and is at par compared to other Bollywood father-son couple.
Looking at them, Shahid Kapoor–Pankaj Kapoor comes first on our list. They worked together as director-actor in ‘Mausam' but the movie failed badly.
The comedy duo Varun Dhawan–David Dhawan's work was recently seen in ‘Main Tera Hero'. However, the flick worked at box office but didn't turn out to be a money minting machine like Rakesh-Hrithik Roshan.
Adhyayan Suman directed his son Shekhar Suman in the movie ‘Heartless', which released earlier this year but bombed.
The Bigg Boss fame Armaan Kohli marked his acting debut in his father Rajkumar Kohli' 1992 release ‘Virodhi' which bombed at the box office. However, he was re-launched with other movies but both went unnoticed.
Hrithik-Rakesh Roshan have worked in as many as four films and all have turned out to be money minting machines at box office.
We expect the same result from their next as well.
