The flick was least perturbed by last week's critically acclaimed release ‘Citylights' starring Rajkumar Rao and Patralekha which ended up its one week run with Rs 6 cr collection.

But as expected Akshay Kumar's ‘Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty' has got a flying start at box office. While the flick has taken domestic box office by storm, in international arena, it has already surpassed Khiladi Kumar's very own Housefull 2 and Singh Is King's opening day figures.
“Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty storms UAE-GCC. It's the HIGHEST *Thursday opening* ever for an Akshay Kumar starrer”, wrote Adarsh.
“Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty overtakes #Housefull2 and #SinghIsKing Thursday numbers in UAE-GCC. Collects $ 226,000 [Rs 1.34 cr]”, he tweeted further.
The flick which also stars Sonakshi Sinha is being receiving well at single screen theatres and an impressive total is expected by the end of the day. Moreover, according to Adarsh, the A.R. Murugadoss directorial will dominate the coming week at box office.
