Mumbai: Actor Hazel earned accolades for her sweet, college girl role in her debut film Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar (MP3). But it seems that the pretty girl wants to break free of this girl-next-door tag now, reports the Mumbai newspaper DNA.
“I would love to do a negative role,” says Hazel. Ask her if there's somebody who inspires her, and pat comes the reply, “Something like Priyanka Chopra's role in Aitraaz maybe.”
Clearly, Hazel is too keen to play the bad girl and says that her first film never gave her an opportunity to unleash her full potential.
“I want to do something that will show my acting range and not just play a pretty college girl anymore,” says Hazel who got many similar offers post MP3.
In her upcoming movie the actor plays the role of a village girl and sharesscreen space with actors Jimmy Shergill and Sanjay Suri.
