Here one of those situation is kept at fore, which is neither described nor is dealt methodologically. The tale of two decades commencing from Mita's (Parineeti Chopra) teenage tech innocence to falling for Nikhil (Siddharth Malhotra) is semi-cooked.
Mita, a science freak, is a misfit in her rich Gujarati family and so she runs away for making big in none other than China but comes back to just bring trouble in Nikhil's life. Nikhil, on the other side, is struggling to get a breakthrough in his career even after getting engaged with Mita's elder sister Karishma (Adah Shah) who is pressurising him to earn big.
