New Delhi: Cricketer Harbhajan Singh is finally going to marry his long time girlfriend, actress Geeta Basra. According to reports, 29th October is the date finalized for their big Punjabi wedding.
The 35-year-old legendary bowler will tie the knot with 31-year-old Basra in Hotel Club Cabana in Phagwara, around 20 kms from Jalandhar. The event would be an intimate affair with only close friends and family invited.
This star wedding is, reportedly, going to be a 5-day event. The would-be-bride Geeta's parents would be flying in from London for the D-day.
The amalgamation of cricket & Bollywood will see the traditional rituals namely choora ceremony, nuptials and sangeet. And we might witness some of his team-mates (Virat, Yuvraj, Dhoni) shaking a leg on the occasion.
Post the marriage, the star couple is also going to throw a reception party in Delhi on November 1. Harbhajan's team mates and South African players, who are on a tour of India, are expected to attend this function.
