New Delhi: The third week brought the double ton for Happy New Year which closes its three weeks tally at box office at Rs 201.80 cr nett in India. However, in last few days, the Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer just managed to keep the cash registers ringing at box office earning in lacs, but still it was enough for the movie to cross Rs 200 cr mark.
On the last day of its third week, HNY garnered Rs 65 lacs nett in India. Looking at the trend and the new releases, the business for the Farah Khan directorial is expected to dip more. Kill Dil has hit the theatres today and as per news coming in, the occupancy at multiplexes and single screens theatres for the movie is good.
Starring Ranveer Singh, Parineeti Chopra, Govinda and Ali Zafar, Kill Dil has created the right amount of buzz in recent times which is surely going to turn into decent box office numbers.
Last week's release, The Shaukeens tuned out into a good business maker at box office. The movie within a week has collected Rs 28 cr nett in India.
The movie starring Akshay Kumar, Lisa Hayden, Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor and Piyush Mishra did managed to tickle funny bone of the audience but in its second week a considerable fall in business is expected but not like the other release last week. Rang Rasiya starring Randeep Hooda only managed to make Rs 4 cr nett in India and is going to be completely eclipsed this week.
