Amritsar, Mar 12: Singer Hans Raj Hans has been appointed as a visiting fellow of Guru Nanak Dev University's (GNDU) music department, the University announced today.
GNDU Vice Chancellor Ajaib Singh Brar said the contribution of Hans Raj Hans was commendable in the field of music especially in Sufi singing and hoped that in-depth knowledge of the singer would help enhance the knowledge of students of the music department.
He said the University would appoint more subject experts of national and international repute as visiting fellows for the benefit of students of the University.
Brar said the University would appoint eminent personalities from various fields as visiting professors.
