New Delhi: Bang Bang has hit it hard with the magnetism of Hrithik and Katrina in the film.

The film that garnered Rs. 27.54 crores at the box office on Day 1 has minted in Rs. 24.58 crores on its Day 2 rounding the figure to the total of 51.62 crores in India.

On the other hand, Vishal Bharadwaj's magnum opus, Haider is struggling on the box office as compared to the giant collection given by Bang Bang. Despite its brilliant screen treatment, Shahid-Shraddha starrer Haider has been able to collect an amount of Rs. 6.93 crores on Day 2 at the box office.

Haider, that also stars Tabu, Kay Kay Menon and Irrfan Khan as other vital characters rounded up its Day 1 collection for Rs. 6.14 crores making it to the total of Rs. 13.07 in India so far.

While both the movies have been touted as two of the most anticipated movies of the year, their clash at the box office was something to be widely watched out for.

Haider, however, is lying far behind as a commercial success than Bang Bang; the film has claimed tons of rave views from the fans and critics all over.

Bang Bang lays ruling at the fifth position in the top five biggest openers of all time in India, defeating Salman Khan's Kick opening day collection. Kick mounted Rs. 26.40 crores to become the second biggest opener of the year after Ajay Devgn's ‘Singham Returns.'

Now, the top five biggest openers of all time include Aamir Khan's Dhoom 3 at the top (Rs. 36.22 cr), SRK's Chennai Express (Rs. 33.12 cr), Salman's Ek Tha Tiger (Rs. 32.93 cr), Ajay's Singham Returns (Rs 32.009 cr) and Hrithik's Bang Bang (Rs. 27.54 cr).

In the meanwhile, Haider has not been able to even beat Vishal's last offering ‘Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola' that opened at Rs. 7.02 cr at the box office. Moreover, the film has surpassed Shahid's ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero' opening day collection that stands at Rs. 6 cr but not R…Rajkumar that has minted Rs. 10.2 cr on its first day.

Haider is going good but way too behind in the run with Hrithik's Bang Bang!
