New Delhi: The prestigious GQ Awards were held at Grand Hyatt in Mumbai on Saturday, the 26th September. The starry event was filled with gorgeous faces, trendsetting looks and even more fun. Many Bollywood celebrities graced the occasion while many were honoured with awards by the leading fashion magazine, ‘GQ India'.
Award shows like these are the places where new fashion rules are set with paparazzi keen on knowing who wore what. Actress Deepika Padukone who donned a white dress and accentuated it with smoky eyes, had all eyes set on her. Others who scored high on the fashion scale were actresses Aditi Rao Hyadri, Richa Chaddha, Lara Dutta and Lisa Ray.
The handsome hunks of B-town, Akshay Kumar and Shahid Kapoor looked nothing short of perfect in tailored suits.
It was a rewarding evening for Akshay Kumar as he won the award for ‘Ultimate Man of the Year'. The actor who has seen a great year so far by delivering hit movies like ‘Baby' and ‘Gabbar Is Back' is gearing up for his next release ‘Singh Is Bliing'.

Deepika Padukone won the ‘Woman of the Year Award' and her contemporary Richa Chaddha was awarded the ‘Excellence In Acting Award'. ‘Haider' actor Shahid Kapoor bagged the ‘Actor of the Year Award' while actor Sushant Singh Rajput received the award for ‘Breakthrough Talent of the Year'.
