Mumbai, Apr 12 : While most filmmakers try to avoid a clash of their film's release with that of their counter-parts, Subhash Ghai is all set to release two of his upcoming films ‘Love Express' and ‘Cycle Kick' on the same day.
The two films, directed by two first-time directors under the banner Mukta Searchlight Films and starring six debut actors, releases on May 27.
“Both films will be released in the same multiplexes and in the same shows so that people can buy only one ticket to watch two films. In other words, the audience will get to watch two films for the price of one,” Ghai told reporters here.
‘Love Express' directed by Sunny Bhambhani stars four lead actors—Sahil Mehta, Mannat Ravi, Vikas Katyal and Priyam Galav in lead roles. The film is a love story in a train with a Punjabi family wedding as its backdrop.
Directed by Shashi Sudigala, ‘Cycle Kick' stars - Nishan Nanaiah and Sunny Hinduja in lead roles.
The film is about two friends trying to achieve their respective goals and dreams in life and how something as a small as a cycle and a football become so important to them in making them realise their dreams.
Ghai is introduced and groomed new talent like Jackie Shroff, Madhuri Dixit, Meenakshi Sheshadri, Manisha Koirala, Mahima Chouwdhary, and Isha Sharvani. PTI
