New Delhi: Gautam Gulati is riding great on the success of Bigg Boss 8. Apart from winning the title last year, Gautam has carved a truly distinct persona of himself in the audience's wit.
The TV actor has bagged a role in Emraan Hashmi starrer 'Azhar'. The actor is reportedly playing the character of cricketer Ravi Shastri in this Mohammad Azharuddin biopic.
Since his 'Bigg Boss' stints, the 'Diya aur Baati Hum' star has a lot in his plate and this Bollywood grand debut surely seems like a jewelled feather in his success cap.
Produced by Ekta Kapoor, the film also stars Prachi Desai and Nimrat Kaur in other pivotal roles. And while Gautam definitely appears excited about his role, he has also started doing his home work for the film.
According to the reports, the chiselled body actor is watching a lot of on-field videos of Ravi Shastri in order to clip his movements right. Gautam is making sure to match Shastri's quintessential cricket technique called 'chapati' shots.
Well, too much of hard work he is putting in, after all he knows how much we love-we love Gauti!
