New Delhi: The two demeaning incidents shattered the entire nation and they began making headlines all over in media channels and at other informative sources.

While actress Gauahar Khan was slapped by a Muslim guy amidst major security during a show, two brave heart girls were molested by three men in a moving Haryana roadways bus however, the ladies gave a perfect reply to the shameful stalkers.

What has come up is a shocker and yet it's not new. Women have been fighting for equivalent right since decades but their voice is muted by such tight slaps. In Gauahar Khan's case, we were deemed to recall other such incidents taken place where actresses were victimized. Most of the cases which were surfaced had actresses being molested but none of it brought up the short jeans/skirts as the reason for the evocation of such deeds.

Or may be tiny clothes responsible but they couldn't be revealed in public as in the case of Gauahar where Akil the man who slapped the actress admitted that he felt seduced by her tiny outfits.

Now matter of the question is that are clothes really responsible for such provocation? This recalls me its' my fault video of Kalki Koechlin which makes women accept that it's their fault for being molested and raped. Considering that, yes it's their fault and whatever happens to them is their sole responsibility.

But if it's those skimpy outfit considered to be responsible for rapes and molestation of women, then what should be said about the Haryana sisters who stated that had they wore kurtis or other Indian attire they would have been torn and because it was jeans they were wearing they fought freely and comfortably with those stalkers.

The clothes are not the problem. It never was. The problem is in the mindset of the male section which is prone to the feeling that women in short clothes are nothing but an object of seduction.

It's also quailing hearing Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha demanding girls be banned from wearing jeans, however, after this incident they changed to their meaning to short jeans (kapri).

The attire should cover the body and not be indecent. Moreover girls should be banned from wearing tight jeans and tops," state Vice President of ABHM Dharmapal Siwach was quoted as saying by a leading daily a day before Haryana Roadway bus incident.

So, if it is so, it's a sheer shame and inspiration to men like the three in Haryana and Akil to go ahead and repeat what they did it now. Actresses, who are considered the face of the growing society and are inspiration for transforming females, if face such agitation by men, then it is surely going to damage the changing process which for now is once again pushed back to its initial stage.

On the other hand, had it been brave sisters given support by the onlookers in the bus rather than sitting like a silent spectators, an encouraging message would have gone to all those who shy away from helping the troubled ladies.

The Haryana sisters were lucky girls to get the much needed support from the media but they won't be available for help every time. There is a much need of such girls to display such courage and make the male fraternity realize that they aren't meant to be treated like objects and clothes they are wearing aren't a matter of concern.

Ladies should be felicitated with awards for their needful action. The initiative is taken and it needs to be followed.
