The remaining impact diminishes by the dull performances of the actors. Debutant Vijender Singh punches with his comic lines but fails in any emotionally driven scene. Kiara Advani, the Mumbai diva, is good in her act but looks like she is more used as an eye candy. Mohit Marwah excels in his serious act.
It's undoubtedly Jimmy Shergill who takes the incomparable lead. The serious yet light-hearted roles suit him and once again he is effortless in that. Music by Honey Singh, Prashant Vadhyar and Raftaar is commendable. Tracks like Dhup Chip, Banjarey sound good to ears.
I'll go with two stars for ‘Fugly', which has too many loopholes and in the end loses it's way completely.
