They disagreed because they wanted a hilly terrain. Madhubala's father asked her to quit the film.
He was ready to pay the deficit. B R Chopra asked Dilip Kumar for help.
Dilip and Madhubala were engaged then. Dilip tried to mediate but Madhubala refused to disobey her father.
B R Chopra's production filed a case against Madhubala, which went on for a year. But this did not spoil their relationship.
