New Delhi: This Valentine's Day, get ready to be swayed by a love story which will leave deep marks on your heart. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, ‘Fitoor' which stars Katrina Kaif, Aditya Roy Kapoor in lead roles, rolled out its trailer today. Slated for a release on 12th February, the movie also stars Tabu as Kaif's mother.
Based on Charles Dickens' classic novel, Great Expectations, the movie will be high on visual delights. Set in the backdrop of Kashmir, ‘Fitoor' is the love story of Noor (Kapoor) and Firdaus (Kaif), who is the daughter of rich Begum Hazrat (Tabu).
The movie looks like old wine in a new bottle, as Bollywood has been home to many love stories of a poor boy falling for a rich girl. This tried and tested formula has been missing from movies lately, but Kapoor is bringing it back with ‘Fitoor'.
From the look of the trailer, Aditya looks set to deliver a promising performance. Though, he has not lost the aggression of being a hard core lover to someone from Aashiqui 2, it is a welcome change to see him narrate poetic dialogues. Katrina, who hasn't adulterated her trademark British accent, looks absolutely stunning as Firdaus.

After playing Shahid Kapoor's mother in ‘Haider', Tabu has donned the mother's hat again for Katrina Kaif. Just like Ghazala Meera, Hazrat too has shades of grey, pointing that we have her as the villain to the love story.
The advantage this movie has, is that the love story is releasing around the time when love stays in the air, the Friday before Valentine's the 14th.
