For Ranbir it was a dream come true to share the screen space and match his steps with the ace dancer. Ranbir revealed that it was Karan Johar idea of roping in Madhuri in the track.
“We are really thrilled that she has done the song. It was fun doing it. Actually, it was Karan's (Johar; producer) idea. He suggested it to Ayan because we always had the scope for such a song.”
