Mumbai: The playful love antics of this young and cute couple of Bollywood are finally out. We always knew there was something brewing between this youthful couple - Siddharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt. But, gosh, did we wish them to marry? Yes and no both!
Yes, to keep the cuteness close together as B-town is famous for break-ups and, no, because we still wish to see more of them on screen – single and sizzling.
Last month also this much-in-love couple made headlines when Alia met Sid's parents over dinner and spent quality time with them after it. Though it was speculated that the couple had plans to take their relationship to the next level, the 22-year-old actress rubbished the marriage rumours altogether. But this gave enough hints that something was definitely cooking between the two!
Lately, when Sid spoke to a leading entertainment daily, he kind of confirmed his relationship with the “Shaandaar' actress, though not in many words.
When asked about his marriage plans with Alia, Sidharth said, “We have just started our careers. Abhi toh hum jawaan hai, abhi shaadi kahan?” (We are still young. Where does getting married feature in our lives right now?)
But the Brothers actor did not fail to mention that he believes in the entire institution of marriage. Though a far-fetched dream for him as of now, he quipped, “I am just 30, and today, 30 is the new 20. I am not even thinking [about marriage] right now. I am not even ready. There is so much work to be done. I have a lot of growing up to do too," says the actor, adding, "Eventually, definitely [I would love to get married]. I strongly believe in the whole family thing, but timing wise, it's not happening anytime soon.”
Fans of the couple will be happy that Sidharth did not deny the idea of marrying Alia in future!
Sid also spoke about the profession of the girl he would like to marry. He said, “For me, it's the person who matters. One's professional life is separate, right? She could have a regular job. I am not going to judge her on the kind of work she does.”
