Mumbai: With back-to-back hits like Murder 2, The Dirty Picture and Jannat 2, Bollywood's serial kisser Emraan Hashmi is a busy man nowadays, and his Parveen is happy that her husband is doing lesser number of kissing scenes on screen.
Emraan told a newspaper: “My parents watched Shanghai and they were delighted that they didn't see me kiss in the film.
"Those scenes were getting very repetitive, so I really wanted to surprise them and the audience.”
Asked whether his wife Parveen is relieved too? “Definitely. Parveen's very happy and way more relaxed,” says the actor.
On his forthcoming film Raaz 3, opposite Bipasha Basu, Emraan says: “I play a mainstream Bollywood director. When you watch the film, you will see him transform.”
Emraan played the role of gangster Dawood Ibrahim in Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai (2010), and now, Akshay Kumar is ready to take on the mantle in the film's sequel.
Asked whether the audience would have wanted to see him in the sequel, he said: “I'm sure Milan (Luthria, director) and Ekta (Kapoor, producer) have invested a lot of money and creative efforts into making this film. I did my best in part one and it was a success.”
Asked whether he considered himself a lucky mascot for Ekta Kapoor with the success of The Dirty Picture, Emraan said: “We're each other's lucky mascots. With her knowledge and my inputs, we complement each other.”
