New Delhi: Yash Raj banner is back with its ‘chota packet bada dhamaka' formula in its latest offering ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha' and if you haven't watched its hilarious trailer till now, you don't have a clue what you are missing.
While the tale of Ayushmann Khurrana who is paired with a woman double his weight is captivating and hilarious, the regional (Haridwar and Rishikesh) dialect add more spark to this romantic comedy.
Here are the top five dialogues from the trailer hearing, which you will be floored and crave for more. Read it out-
1 Prem Prakash Tiwari (Ayushmann Khurrana) expresses his inner pain he has been carrying since his childhood. “Teen cheez hai koi kuch karle meri aankhon se aasu tapakne se na rok sake. Ek to angrezi ka prashn patra, dusri Kumar Sanu ki awaaz, teesri papaji ki chappal”.
2. Sandhya (Bhumi Pednekar) while conveying her three desires says, “Mujhe bhi teen cheez ka hi shauk raha hai bachpan se, ek bus teacher lag jau, dusri teacher lagte hi koi byah le mujhko aur teesi khyal rakhe wo mera, bus maan de mujhe”.
3. Prem Prakash is highly disappointed by his parents' unusual heavyweight choice of bride for him and complains, “Mummy, size dekha hai uska, yun” to which his Pa (played by Sanjai Mishra) replies “Aur tu kaha ka phandika hai, Juhi Chawla ke sapne dekh raha hai”
4. Sandhya, on noticing her husband is ashamed of her, taunts, “Dulhan ban ke main aayi, aur ghoonghat inhone odh liya”
5. Prem, who is now forced to participate in a ‘paratiyogita' that required him to carry his wife on his shoulder and run, is agonized as he says, “Shaadi ban gayi hamari paratiyogita, ya to maidan chod kar bhaag jao ya phir khelo dum laga ke”.
And to pack all here's one more- Sandhya's mother gives her few tricks to how to seduce Prem, “Agar usse kuch na hoye na, tu use rijha, angreji film lagae, thoda mahaul banega, kranti aayegi vicharo mein”.
