New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan must be on cloud nine these days. And the credit goes to the stupendous box collections made by his recent release ‘Dilwale'.
Helmed by Rohit Shetty, ‘Dilwale' is actually minting crores at the box office.
In fact the movie, which also features Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, has also crossed the mark of Rs. 100 crore worldwide in its opening weekend.
Interestingly, despite getting negative reviews, ‘Dilwale' is setting new records, not just in India, but also in overseas market.
Apart from being the 3rd highest weekend grosser of 2015; ‘Dilwale' has shattered several box office records with in just four days of its release.
1. Shah Rukh Khan's ‘Dilwale' has made Australia go crazy. The Australian audience has thoroughly loved the movie and it has become the biggest opening Bollywood film in Australia of 2015.
2. ‘Dilwale' got astounding opening in the Gulf region. The movie is not just earning great collections there but has also outrun a huge franchise film like Star Wars. Infact, ‘Dilwale' has become the most favourite film in the Gulf.
3. The SRK-Kajol starred also got the highest opening in UK amongst other Bollywood movies in 2015. ‘Dilwale' is running at number 2 on the top 10 charts of all films in UK.
4. ‘Dilwale' is on number 4 position of the Box Office charts in USA and number second position in Malaysia and New Zealand.
5. The movie has earned Rs. 56 crores in the overseas market in its opening weekend which is exceptional.
With ‘Dilwale' is still earning great collections, only time will reveal if the movie will break any other box office records in the coming weekend which is going to be a long one with Christmas falling on Friday.
