New Delhi: The battle of ‘Dilwale' and ‘Bajirao Mastani' is getting bigger day by day. After maintaining the lead throughout the weekend, the SRK starrer lagged behind the Ranveer starrer on Monday.

While everyone was expecting that this trend will continue in the coming days as well, as the historical drama is garnering much better reviews than the masala entertainer, the opposite has happened on Tuesday.

King Khan strikes back in style as ‘Dilwale' gets back its lead over ‘Bajirao Mastani' on the 5th day.

As per the tweets of trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the Rohit Shetty directed film raked in Rs 9.42 crores and the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed film minted Rs 9.40 crores on Tuesday at the box office.

Although, the difference is of few lakhs only but it is enough to establish the fact that the audiences are going in good numbers to watch ‘Dilwale' and the film could not be written off completely.

With ‘Bajirao Mastani' overshadowing its competitor in the last couple of days, it was believed that ‘Dilwale' will be rejected by the audiences within a week only.

But the Tuesday collections have brought the SRK-Kajol starrer back in game and it would be interesting to see that where will this clash head from here.
