Mumbai: Bollywood thespian Dilip Kumar had a heart attack(myocardial infarction) on Sunday and he is now stable and under observation in ICU of Lilawati Hospital.

A press release issued by the hospital today said:
"Mr Dilip Kumar suffered a myocardial infarction yesterday. He was admitted to Lilavati Hospital yesterday at around 9:30pm in the ICU. All treatment as per protocol was instituted. At present his condition is stable
"In view of his advanced age and post bypass status, he needs close monitoring in the ICU. He is in the able hands of Dr Nitin Gokhale, cardiologist"
Several Bollywood celebs went to the hospital to inquire about the condition of the 91-year-old legendary actor.
