New Delhi: The former beauty queen Dia Mirza got married to business man and beau for 4 years, Sahil Sangha in a grand wedding at Chattarpur farms on Friday.
The wedding was a perfect fairy tale wedding and Dia looked no where less than a princess.
Since Dia has got married, she will surely plan her family further. It seems that Dia has already made her preference public.
Being a modern Indian woman Dia wants a baby girl to be her first child and her husband Sahil too has no objection in it.
As per the report in a leading daily when she exchanged marital vows with beau and business partner Sahil Sangha, the pandit while chanting the mantras, he happened to say, "Hum kamna karte hain ki aap jaldi ek putra ki mata bane." Immediately, Dia and her groom interrupted him and asked that they wanted a 'putri' and not a 'putra'.
Well, since Dia has given this little signal, you can expect the good news very soon.
The wedding ceremony at the nicely-decorated posh farmhouse was attended by the couple's friends from Bollywood including Sushmita Sen, Mahesh Bhupati, Lara Dutta, Rajkumar Hirani, Zayed Khan, Sophie Choudry and Cyrus Sahukar.
Dia looked resplendent in Ritu Kumar's creation on her wedding day and portrayed a typical Hyderabadi bride wearing a green and beige gharara. The farmhouse in the capital was decked with white flowers.
"Our friends and family worked really hard to make this a memorable day for Diya and me. We are very happy and grateful for everyone who bestowed so much love on us," said Sahil after exchanging the vows.
The couple is the owner of a production house Born Free Entertainment, under which they have released two films 'Love Breakups Zindagi' and 'Bobby Jasoos'. 'Love Breakups Zindagi' was the debut of Sahil in direction and the romantic story also starred Dia in the pivotal role apart from Zayed, Cyrus, Tisca Chopra, Satyadeep Mishra and Pallavi Sharda.
The newly-married couple has no honeymoon plans as of now and is planning to get back into work soon. "We will celebrate Diwali with family in Delhi.
We will go for honeymoon by the end of this year. We will currently head back to work," said Sahil.
The duo has been dating from last four years.
Dia is very close to her mother and so she and Sahil will be staying with her as Sahil too is fond of his mother-in-law.
