New Delhi: Dhoom 3 is now the new king at box office with monstrous collection of Rs. 252. 70 cr. Earlier, it was Krrish 3 reigning over box office record with Rs 244.47 cr in India but Aamir Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer took less than two weeks time to shatter this record.
The first day of the year went brilliant for the flick where it saw a growth in comparison to last couple of days collecting Rs 10.78 cr and with this it made a new mark of Rs 250 cr.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweets, “Dhoom3 [Week 2]: Hindi Rs 61.81 cr, Tamil & Telugu Rs 1.91 cr. Total: Hindi Rs 240.78 cr, Tamil & Telugu Rs 11.92 cr. Grand total: Rs 252.70."
Shah Rukh Khan's Chennai Express in shifted to third spot with lifetime time domestic collection of Rs 227.13 cr.
The day wise break-up of Dhoom 3 box office collection from Friday to Thursday in India are-
Fri 36.22 cr, Sat 33.36 cr, Sun Rs. 38.03 cr, Mon Rs 21.71 cr, Tue Rs 20.14 cr Wed Rs 25.52 cr, Thur 14.01 cr- Rs 188.98 cr.
